Post by Hands-Of-ZeTime » 03 May 2018 12:19

Dear All,

Today we’re please to share major updates on our Mobile Apps and ZeTime Firmwares for both Petite and Regular size. We’re not only improving the overall stability of our Apps and firmware but also adding some new features.

I’m listing below the key improvements you’ll discover in these new builds:

- ZeTime is now compatible with Strava, you can synch your ZeTime Mobile App with Strava and get the data into your favorite sports App.
- We’re enhancing the compatibility with Apple Health, more data from ZeTime are now feeding the Apple App including HR data
- We completely redesigned the weather forecast module with many more status, redesigned icons and improved data accuracy.
- You can now disable activity tracking if you want to use ZeTime only as a Smart device.
- Major improvement on smartphone battery consumption when paired with the watch.
- Fixed some translations issues
- Fixed Multiple Google Map notifications
- Fixed SMS notification issues encountered by Android users
- Improved Home Time Zone feature
- Improved overall synchronisation process and Bluetooth stability.
- Miscellaneous other bugs

Android App is rolling out as we speak, while iOS App might take up to 48 hours to be available depending on Apple approval cycle.
New Firmware are available as we speak, you can update immediately.

Build numbers : iOS & Android ( Build 1.5.6) - Firmware (Regular 1.7 B34) (Petite 1.0 B25)

Fixt and Not fixt:

The install of the update it self takes some time so be patient!
This update is also power-consuming (around 10%) so make sure you have at least 40% battery!

- After the update all notifications are re-enabled!
- On Android the ZeTime App. icon is gone, but system maintenance picks it up as it's running and using battery while in the background.

- On Android: If notifications etc. stopped working please reboot phone and watch.
-- If that not helps remove App. and re-install App. This has to do with that after de App. update ZeTime wasn't allowed to "listen in" on notifications. When reinstalling the app, it asked for these permission again an voila.
--- In some cases SMS notifications stop working after 3 notifications. Deleting and Re-installing the App. fix this, but stops working again after 3 notifications.

- After the Weather-App update it shows tornados in all countries.

- Although MK claims BT connection should be improved, many users complain it got worse.

[iOS]
Battery-life seems improved.
Overall the iOS update seems "better" then the Android, iOS users claim everything seems to be working. Even the Weather App. shows no tornados if they are not there ;)

Petite

- User of the Petite claim that after the update the Calendar App. is gone.

Any plan to improve the reactivity of the watch when we try to wake it up by moving our arm? At the moment it takes too long.. and if you don't do the right "move", it doesn't wake up..

Thanks for your work,
Sam

Battery life on iPhone is definitely improved by a lot. iPhone battery was about 65% after 24 hours. (On previous firmware and app, it went down 5% per hour.) Still evaluating other features and fixes.

I get the "anti lost" notifications a lot more (several a day).
Even if watch and (Android) phone are just a few feet apart. (Phone in trouser pocket, or on desk I'm sitting at...)
