No warranty if you buy a "Second hand" ZeTime

Post by Hands-Of-ZeTime » 20 Feb 2018 17:24

Please be aware that buying a "Second hand" ZeTime could get you in trouble when it turns out defective.

If you buy a Kickstarter or IGG Edition ZeTime there will be no warranty on this device.
The warranty cannot be transferred to a new (second) buyer.

This was stated by Fred Boutin on Facebook in reply to someone who bought a KS ZeTime on eBay.

My watch was received from my gf who backed the project- do I still have a warranty- even though I’m not the direct backer- though I did have to reimburse her for the expense...?!

I would leave out the part that you own it and have her make the claim if need be, for you. At least that's what I'd do, otherwise something tells me they'd have the ability to deny the claim.
